JUNIOR TODDLER ROOM

Clay P. Bedford
You can teach a student a lesson for a day; but if you can teach him to learn by creating curiosity, he will continue the learning process as long as he lives.

Once comfortable at Tot Spot Academy, children enter the Junior Toddler Room. Here the toddlers are encouraged to explore their independence, build upon their current knowledge, and expand their skills. This classroom brings slightly more structure and an increase in fine and gross motor skill development. Our classroom teachers continue to build loving relationships as follow a daily schedule which allows for predictability and routine within the room.

The Junior Toddler classroom participates circle time twice a day which allows the students to actively engage in activities such as stories, rhymes, finger plays, puppet shows, and direct concept teaching experiences. Our toddlers are encouraged to partake in crafts and process based art activities.

Junior Toddler Room parents are provided with a monthly calendar which outlines themes, concepts, exciting activities, and important events. Our programming is completed monthly by our teachers is based on the interests and ability levels of the children within the room.
